About the artist

My name is Rossana “Rossi” Kelton

My Mission

I seek to make the world a better place with my artwork. Hopefully, we will cross paths in the real world someday, and we can make it a better place together. Dreaming together and painting - I connect happiness within us to paintings. A certain spirituality, emotion, and mood are always present, like an undercurrent. I hear and understand what is required, even for a need not known.

I want my artwork to make people happy and provide emotional support. I started my art gallery Rossi Kelton Fine Art Gallery, to connect and help other creators tell their stories. I am pursuing a Master in Fine Arts at Savannah College of Art and Design and creating paintings to donate a percentage of their sale to Cancer research.

I used sustainable and natural painting materials that are non-toxic and do not harm the environment. Oil paintings are composed of flaxseed oil, which is beneficial to the heart and brain. Acrylic painting pigments derive from earth non-toxic earth elements, and acrylic gels contain water.  All the materials I used, including the thinner to clean brushes, are environmentally friendly and non-toxic. I believe in using sustainable, recyclable resources such as wood and canvas fabrics that can be recycled.

My Vision: Craftmanship but Environmentally Sustainable

In grammar school, I was that kid that seemed never to be paying attention. Seemingly in my world of doodles and drawings. But, I’ve had a pencil in my hand since I was five. Things never change… I’m no longer a five year old though.

When I went to college, I originally had the idea of going into painting. After creating a few paintings and posting them on eBay and getting instant gratification and praise from others, I was hooked. The internet was my outlet—a new way to show and share my passion. I ended as a candidate for the Master of Fine Arts in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design and turned around to painting for Rossi Kelton Fine Art Gallery. I am so happy that I made that decision.

I do the work I do because I love it. I like the industry. I like the people I meet. I want to talk shop. I embrace the artist. I like to make the world a better place with my artwork.

I also want to save a life one for one. For every product you purchase, I donate 25% of the purchase to save a life. I contribute to the American Cancer Society for the fight against Cancer and to homeless women’s shelters
