About the artist

My name is Rossana “Rossi” Kelton

My Mission

My passion lies in using my artwork to make the world a better place. I envision a future where our paths cross, and together, we can create a more beautiful world. Through our shared dreams and the strokes of my paintbrush, I aim to connect the happiness within us to the canvas. Each painting carries a certain spirituality, emotion, and mood, like an undercurrent, always present. I strive to hear and understand what is required, even for a need not yet known.
I want my artwork to make people happy and provide emotional support. I started my art gallery, Rossi Kelton Fine Art Gallery, to connect with and help other creators tell their stories. I completed a Master of Fine Arts in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design, and I create paintings that donate a percentage of their sales to Cancer research.
My commitment to the environment is as strong as my passion for art. I use sustainable and natural non-toxic painting materials that do not harm the environment. Oil paintings, for instance, are composed of flaxseed oil, which is not only beneficial to the heart and brain but also to our planet. Acrylic painting pigments derive from non-toxic earth elements, and acrylic gels contain water. All the materials I use, including the thinner-to-clean brushes, are environmentally friendly and non-toxic. I believe in using sustainable, recyclable resources such as wood and canvas fabrics that can be recycled, ensuring that my art leaves a positive, lasting impact.
My Vision: Craftmanship but Environmentally Sustainable
In grammar school, I was that kid who seemed never to be paying attention, seemingly in my world of doodles and drawings. But I’ve had a pencil in my hand since I was five. Things never change… I’m no longer a five-year-old, though.
When I went to college, I originally thought of going into painting. After creating a few paintings, posting them on eBay, and getting instant gratification and praise from others, I was hooked. The internet was my outlet—a new way to show and share my passion. I became a candidate for the Master of Fine Arts in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design and turned to painting for Rossi Kelton Fine Art Gallery. I am so happy that I made that decision.
I do the work I do because I love it. I like the industry. I like the people I meet. I want to talk shop. I embrace the artist. I like to make the world a better place with my artwork.
My commitment to making a difference extends beyond my artwork. For every product you purchase, I pledge to donate 25% of the purchase to save a life. This contribution goes towards supporting the American Cancer Society in their fight against Cancer and homeless women’s shelters. I am deeply committed to these causes, and your support allows me to continue making a difference in these areas.
