Essay
While many Contemporary artists focused primarily on the theory and philosophy /research area for guidance and inspiration in subject matter, Rossi embraced the natural world and painted magnified images of her abstract vision of nature. In “Tropical Secret” she explores texture and colour that reminds of the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. Although abstract, the work echoes of the local colors of the Caribbean with its complex and rich history of color in art. The colors are vibrant and reminiscent of the sun and sea.
