The oil used in oil paintings is linseed oil, known as flaxseed oil, which is found in many foods or nutritional supplements. Flaxseed oil had the highest level of Omega-3 Fatty acids, which may give it some benefits for the brain and the heart's health. She also used non-toxic paint thinners to clean up the oil painting materials derived from natural, sustainable sources.
