Collection: NEW BODY OF WORK

I have gone green with silkscreen printing. The main components of the silk-screening printing technique are the inks, solvents, and cleaning agents and their potential use and waste in silkscreen printing. I use only eco-friendly water-based inks, unlike the solvent-based ones, which I do not use. Water-based inks contain fewer oil-based chemicals and are less harmful to the habitats. Another critical point is that my screens are reusable, which means that they are recyclable. The green screens are reclaimed using safe, biodegradable solvents that remove the old emulsion and prepare the net for the next artwork round.

I use  eco-friendly biodegradable and non-toxic cleaners and safe solvents. These materials come from a sustainable reclaiming process that is 100 percent biodegradable but uses materials such as corn and soybeans. No toxic chemicals are going down the drain or damaging the ozone layer by entering the atmosphere and is yet another way to realize sustainability.
